My main man, Pat Riley, and his fiancee, Caitlin, will be tying the knot next June in Rhode Island. I recently worked with them to put together their wedding website.

I’m currently working on a logo for Dan Lauzon, the younger brother of UFC Fighter Joe Lauzon. Dan goes by the nickname, “The Upgrade.”
What do you think of the logo so far?

I love food. However, I probably don’t appreciate food and drink nearly as much as my good friend, Ryan Clements.
Ryan has been a “foodie” for a long time – he even takes time to write about his love of food on his blog, Ryan Likes to Eat. Check out his reviews and recipes if you’re looking for some good grub talk.

Kanye Does It Again

Last night on the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West closed the show with his new single, “Love Lockdown.”
Kanye, one of my favorite artists, continues to push the boundaries of hip-hop and does so successfully. Much like his Glow in the Dark Tour, the simple lights and set design help to make for a great performance.
Kanye’s fourth studio album is due to hit the shelves this December.

Rejection Never Felt this Good
Monday, September 1st, 2008
I’m excited to share a new venture of mine – helping to create and run a graphic design awards contest.
Matt Gustavsen, a co-worker and fellow designer, and I felt there was a void in the design awards world – what happens to all the great design concepts that remain unused? This was our inspiration for Project Never. The awards contest, sponsored by Hart•Boillot and Strangeways, honors the best graphic design concept that never reached production.
Matt & I, with the help of many others, look forward to receiving submissions from across the globe in the coming months. In the interim, feel free to check out projectnever.com. The site will spell out the details of the program and also include The Rejected Blog, which will highlight some of our favorite (but not necessarily winning) concepts amongst other design fodder.
Enjoy the site – and feel free to spread the word and enter your own concept!
