Kanye Does It Again
Monday, September 8th, 2008
Last night on the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West closed the show with his new single, “Love Lockdown.”
Kanye, one of my favorite artists, continues to push the boundaries of hip-hop and does so successfully. Much like his Glow in the Dark Tour, the simple lights and set design help to make for a great performance.
Kanye’s fourth studio album is due to hit the shelves this December.

Tapped Out

This week, the Versus channel aired an episode of their mixed martial arts show, “Tapout” which featured Dan Lauzon. The younger brother of UFC star Joe Lauzon, Dan has just as much potential as Joe and will be a great fighter someday.
Unfortunately, this episode did not paint Reality Self-Defense and Bishop’s Boxing (two gyms that both Joe and Dan train at) in a good light. Because of poor editing and forced “real” storylines, it appeared that Joe and Dan trained with a bunch of crumbums.
It was upsetting to see RSD painted in such a poor light – the small school has consistently cranked out successful local fighters (not to mention two UFCers).
Joe addresses the Tapout episode on his blog. You can learn more about Reality Self-Defense (soon to be Lauzon MMA) here.
