I love the NBA Playoffs.

It’s Almost Fight Time

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

In just a few weeks, brothers Joe and Dan Lauzon will fight on the same UFC card. Simply for fun, here’s a poster I designed that “promotes” the fight. What do you think?

I’ve been on an appreciation-of-posters kick lately. My latest creation involves a favorite sport of mine, coupled with simple and bold typographic design. Golf and design are both easy, right?

Take a look at the full poster and let me know what you think.

The Defending Champs

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Incredibly, my Boston Celtics lost their opening game against the Chicago Bulls to kick-off their NBA Championship title defense. Derrick Rose and the Bulls made the Celts’ defense appear below average at best.

I’ll be in the building for Game 2, hoping for a more focused Celtics team and a victory.

Lauzon MMA

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

My good friend, Joe Lauzon, is in the process of transforming his mixed martial arts school from Reality Self-Defense to Lauzon MMA. I was lucky enough to help him re-brand the school. Above is the color logo – we’ve also worked together to produce business cards and signage thus far.

Next up is t-shirts… I’ll be sure to share when the time comes. Check out the school website in the meantime!

Swing Away

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

I recently returned from Myrtle Beach, where I spent a few days playing golf with my good friends Matt Lincoln and Pat Riley.

Here’s a sampling of our swings (and misses) from the trip.

Transmoflection

Fascinating look at the development of the look/feel for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Without question, the Olympic branding is my dream project. If I ever get the opportunity to work on a future Olympics, I’ll retire immediately!

Finally!

Joe Lauzon defeats Kyle Bradley via technical knock out in the second round during his UFC fight Wednesday night in Omaha, Nebraska.
